Earlier this week I was lucky enough to photograph the beautiful handcrafted jewellery creations of Lana Sanichar. Lana has an amazing personality and she's a lot of fun to be around. First Solo Art Show!

My first solo art show went up last night and I must admit it's quite exciting. The exhibit consists of photographs taken over the last two years at the Hillside Music Festival. The show runs from January 7 - March 3 at the eBar in downtown Guelph. Check it out anytime or come on Friday January 11, between 7-9pm for opening night. Hope to see you there!

Geoff and Rebecca

New Years Eve was my last wedding of 2007 and I must say it was a good one. Geoff and Rebecca's wedding was a little different than all the rest I did this past year. Rebecca wore a green dress, we took photographs before the ceremony, they walked down the isle together, and there was no wedding cake. So refreshing! Just because something is traditional doesn't necessarily make it the best way. The entire evening was nice, but the speeches stick out the most in my mind. I have never seen so many people brought to tears. Funny stories and sincere, heart felt words made everyone very emotional.

It was a great way to end my year and hopefully 2008 starts out just as fun.
